Know the Rules

Surprisingly, craps, where only a pair of dice is involved, is more confusing than poker or roulette. The person rolling the dice is a shooter and changes during the game.

Each game of craps combines two rounds:

  • Come Out Roll. The first roll, which must be made so that the cubes hit the opposite side.
  • Point Roll. The second round continues until the edges of the dice form the sum of 7.

The first roll determines how to play the dice next. There are three options to continue, depending on the sum on the dice:

  • 7 or 11 (Natural). The shooter wins and makes a second throw.
  • 2, 3, 12 (Craps). The shooter loses and is replaced by the next player.
  • The remaining numbers (4-6 and 8-10). The game moves to the second round.

When the Point Roll begins, the amount that activates it is fixed and an “ON” token is placed on the field. The round continues until the sum of the dice points is 7 or Point.

Craps rules

Bets on the field correspond to specific amounts, events, or a combination of them.

Learn the three categories:

Betting on the sum of the next throw:

  • Eleven.
  • Craps Three.
  • Craps Two.
  • Craps Twelve.
  • Any Seven.

The payout odds for the first betting tandem are 15 to 1, for the second pair 30:1. The latter option brings a net prize accrual of 4x.

Collective:

  • Any Craps starts if you roll a 2, 3, or 12 with a pay multiplier of 7:1.
  • Field is available at any stage of craps. Your bet wins if the sum of dice points is in the intervals 2-4 or 9-12. On a roll of a dozen, you receive double net winnings, in other cases 1 to 1.

Event-based:

  • The Big Six or Eight, where the numbers 6 and 8 must precede the appearance of 7. The winnings are 1 to 1.
  • Hard Way. It is activated when doubles precede the number 7.

Field Betting

Each bet here has its own opposite. A specific example is the Pass Line. Make it at the first stage of the game and get one of three results:

  • Winning (a roll of 7 or 9).
  • Defeat (the sum amounted to 2, 3, or 12).
  • It stays on the table when the game goes to the second round.

A Pass Line bet wins if the round ends with a Point Roll. Its counter version will play if the Point Roll ends because of a seven.

Other varieties of field betting:

  • Come/Don’t.
  • Come Odds/Don’t.
  • Pass Line Odds/Don’t.
  • Win.
  • Lose.

At first, a game of craps seems hard. But never be afraid of new breathtaking emotions and the opportunity to win large prizes! Try your hand at this game with a free demo version. And when you are ready, move on to real bets and enormous winnings!
